If light is the fastest thing that has ever graced our earth, if the speed of light is such a magical number that all other electromagnetic waves travel at this speed and the distance between stars are measured in lightyears, then why do people say "May God’s speed be with you"?
What if God runs slower than Maurice Green and Michael Johnson combined together? What if God drives an old Honda Accord that’s only capable of doing slightly more than 150 km/hr on the freeway? What if God, with all his mighty and mysterious powers, is not someone who feels the need for speed and is contented with just strolling along the river enjoying the scenery?
We can’t say "May you travel at the speed of light" for sure. So I guess I’ll stick with God’s speed for the moment.
Human has the nature of delusion. Notion of peace has metamorphosed into an eternal fallacy n my smile, an obsolete expression.
Mankind is susceptible to the temptations of power, status n wealth n grows irrational n stupid overtime.Success mutates their ability to marshal their thoughts n hence their success is their greatest failure.
Malicious, avaricious, covetous they are,and constantly hankering over wealth.
Humankind get bored with childhood, rush to grow up,and then long to be children again.
They lose their health to make money…and then lose their money to restore their health.
They think anxiously about the future, they forget about the present, such that they live in neither the present nor the future.
They live as if they will never die,and die as though they had never lived.
The existence of human and its fallacious beauty marks the period of adversities
I found this in Fiona Mennville’s profile. I don’t know this girl, though I’ve clicked on yes to her friend request. But if this is her original work, I have to say it is very witty. And I am impressed.
